Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge is located on a escarpment overlooking the richly diverse Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania. Located Mid-way between Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater/Serengeti Plain, Lake Manyara Park offers a delightful contrast to both and forms a convenient stop-over between the two on a tour of Northern Tanzania.

Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge can be reached by road or air. It is to the town of Mto wa Mbu which has its own airstrip and a culturally diverse population drawn from many different Tanzanian African tribes. Alternatively, it is a 120-kilometer trip on a good road from Arusha town.

Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge is busy and large safari lodge ideal for large groups and families. The lodge has 67 spectacularly colorful rooms occupy a string of two-story gray washed and thatched rondavels along the cliff edge behind a central infinity pool, giving fantastic views over the escarpment to the distant, glittering lake. There are twins, double and triples with large beds with some rooms interconnecting for families on safaris.

Each clean and bright room has an en-suite bathroom with bottled water, toiletries, robes, slippers and hairdryer. A small patio area contains chairs and a table.
