Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Tarangire Sopa Lodge is a huge, impressive, tourist accommodation complex, suitable for tourists’ groups, families and independent travelers in Africa. Set among rocky kopjes on a hillside overlooking the Tarangire park wilderness, it is a 75 mile drive from outskirts of Arusha, through the diverse scenery of the Tarangire Conservation Area. Tarangire sopa lodge is 20 miles from the park entrance.

Tarangire sopa lodge has 75 rooms in two-story thatched rondavels spread out around the central complex which also contains an extensive outdoor dining area and swimming pool with a central island reached by a wooden bridge. All rooms have a bug-screened balcony, sliding doors, an entrance lounge with two chairs, queen-sized divan beds with a headboard, mosquito nets, small fridge bar and en-suite bathroom. Complimentary tissues, toiletries and bottled water are supplied.

Four of the suites are especially adapted for wheel chair assisted visitors, and four are suitable for families on safari with two interconnected units.
